The first activity of the day, kicks off at 11am - Pup Pilates hosted by Pilates with April. Enjoy some quality time on the mat with your pooch, whilst you stretch your way into the day, releasing all the feel good endorphins!
Shortly after, the Dog Training 101 Panel will commence. We have teamed up with local Bondi dog trainers (@bondibehaviourist , @sohelpmedog,The @the_dog_brigade ) to help answer all dog training related questions in a Q&A Panel.
The key to responsible pet ownership, is proper care, love and of course the right training!
With an increase in pet adoptions over the past year, it is vital for us to focus on responsible pet ownership education for new pet owners.
Shortly after, the Rescue Dog Adoption Parade will take place on the main stage. This is a chance for us to help raise awareness for the local rescue groups involved, as well as showcase their dogs available for adoption. Each representative from each rescue group will get up on stage and chat about who they are, what they do and what help they require. At 12.30pm, the DOGUE Fashion Parade will start, which includes a variety of doggie models, modelling the latest DOGUE Winter Apparel. We can't wait for you to see what we have organised!
Shortly after, we will host the Best Dog Trick / Costume competition, with VIP Judges: • Simon J Hill - Plant Proof • Dr Kate Adams - Bondi Vet • Coco Steadman - Married At First Sight 2021 Entrant • Chris Kerr - Waverley Council • Shauna Perry - DOGUE Marketing We have paw-some prizes up for grabs, thanks to KONG & DOGUE!
The BONDI DOGGIE LIFEGUARD CHALLENGE will be taking place at 1.30pm, thanks to our friends at Petsy Insurance Australia.
We will have an exciting obstacle set up, providing dogs with a day in the life experience of a Bondi Lifeguard. The SLSC Crew from Bondi will be judging this obstacle course, with Petsy team members Mon & Brendan. We have everything from blow up sharks, to hula hoops to jump through.
Each doggie entrant receives a participation award! You can view all the entrants via this link. The legends from KONG have kindly donated some paw-some showbags, to gift to the first 200 guests who arrive on the day!
