Join us this Gymea Village Fair Day as the Gymea Hotel partners with Pound Paws for a

special Howl'o'ween Dog Day event on Sunday the 27th of October.

Get your spook on at the Gymea Hotel car park, as we host a variety of paw-some

activities for the spookiest of dogs!

We will have 20+ pet stall holders, each hosting super fun activations to ensure your

dogs tail is wagging! From scary edibles from All Natural Homemade Treats, to cauldron

doggie baths performed by Bubbles By Belle, we will have a variety of fang-tastic pet

market stalls, guaranteed to wickedly charm you!

Looking for a pet? Pound Paws has organised over six different rescue groups, ranging

from: Greyhounds as Pets, Country Companion Animal Rescue, Animal Trust Society,

Golden Oldies Dog Rescue with adorable dogs available for adoption.

The paw-ty will get startled at 10am, with live music, face painting (for a guaranteed

resting witch face) as well as a haunted jumping castle for kids! There will also be a Best

Dog Costume and Trick or Treat competition, where doggies go in the draw to win paw-

some prizes! There will be lots of paw-some activities on the day ranging from a luxury pet salon, chatting to the local vet, jumping castle, competitions and the opportunity to adopt your fur-ever pet!

Pound Paws Founder, Brittany Bloomer has been hosting Dog Day events around

Australia for the past four years. This marks the second Dog Day event held at Gymea

Hotel, after a successful outcome last year. “This year, we have fingers and paws

crossed that there will be a lot of dog adoption interest for the amazing rescue groups

involved on the day. The aim of these events, is to raise awareness about the importance

of pet adoption, as well as provide an enjoyable day out for our furry friends”.

Gymea Hotel is located in the heart of Gymea Village and provides a variety of delicious

in their Lily’s Bistro dining, as well as endless fun events for all ages.
