Domestic Short Hair

Location: Far South Coast
It appears that NONI # 139C was abandoned as a kitten and had to fend for herself in the bush for months before coming into care. Consequently she is very nervy and not at all comfortable with noises and strangers at this stage. She very soon learnt to begin to trust her carer though, and now allows herself to be patted and shows her appreciation with lots and lots of purring. She has never bitten or scratched. She is in a cattery setting which probably doesn't allow her enough human contact time to be ready for adoption to a typical family and her carers do work and there are many other cats in this facility needing attention. So if there is anyone experienced in winning over kittens like Noni before she fully attaches to her carer, which we are confident she will in time, it may well be a better option for Noni to be adopted quite soon. This allows her to start to bond with a family exactly where she will live out her life, as it is generally difficult for cats like Noni to readily accept a new home once settled and bonded. Noni would probably not be suitable for a family of young children and would need to be housed in a cattery or in a house cage which AWL can provide for a transition period.
Noni is 5 months old, desexed, chipped, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and vet checked.
