Kovu is an independent young man, who still loves a cuddle! Ideally he needs a home with an owner who has experience with his breed. He will take some time to bond with his new family. New home should allow him indoors to be part of the family. Owner will need to be home for the first few days to help settle him in to new environment and gradually work on leaving for longer and longer periods, leaving him with enrichment to use while alone such as long lasting chews and toys. Kovu needs to be the only pet in the household. He is not suitable to living in a family with kids as he has no experience being around children.
